For eleven years, Mr. Sato had taken the same train at seven forty.

11年のあいだ、佐藤さんは7時40分の同じ電車に乗っていました。

When his company moved to remote work, he expected to feel free.

会社が在宅勤務に切りかわったとき、彼は自由になると思っていました。

He had gained ninety minutes a day.

1日90分を手に入れたのです。

The first month was as good as he had hoped.

He slept longer and ate breakfast with his family.
